1. Who we are

Aliqo (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data processed through this website and product. 2. What data we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Account data: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
• Business data you enter: your portfolio content, and information about your own clients (names, emails, proposals, invoices) that you store in the product.
• Contact-form submissions from visitors to your public portfolio page.
• Usage data and cookies, only with your consent, for analytics (see Section 7).

3. Why we process it, and on what legal basis

• To provide the service you signed up for (account, portfolio, CRM, follow-up agent) — legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• To secure the service and prevent abuse (e.g. rate-limiting login attempts) — legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• To send you service-related emails (confirmation, password reset) — legal basis: performance of a contract.
• For analytics cookies — legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time (Section 7).

4. Who processes data on our behalf

We use a small number of specialist providers to run the service. Each acts as a data processor under a data processing agreement, and may store or process data outside the EU/EEA under Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard:

• Database, authentication, and file storage (Supabase).
• Outbound transactional email delivery (Resend).
• AI-drafted follow-up email generation (Anthropic).
• Application hosting.
• Payment processing, once billing is enabled (Stripe).
• Website analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies (Google Analytics).

5. How long we keep it

We keep account and business data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterward to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can request deletion at any time (Section 6).

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Request a portable copy of your data.
• Object to, or request restriction of, certain processing.
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
• Lodge a complaint with the Slovak data protection authority, Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky (dataprotection.gov.sk), or your own country's supervisory authority if you are outside Slovakia.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cookie choice. With your consent, we also use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can accept or decline analytics cookies from the banner shown on your first visit, and change your mind later by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.

8. Security

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Data is stored with row-level access controls so your data is only reachable by your own account. Traffic to the site is encrypted in transit.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product or our data processors change. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do.
