Aliqo

Frequently asked questions

What is Aliqo?
Aliqo is a business assistant for freelancers, built around a free GEO checker that scores whether an AI answer engine could describe and recommend you from your portfolio alone. Underneath that, it combines a public portfolio site, a lightweight CRM for your clients, proposals and invoices, and an agent that drafts follow-up emails when a proposal or invoice has gone quiet.
Does the follow-up agent send emails without me seeing them first?
No. The agent only ever drafts a follow-up and places it in your Inbox. Nothing is sent until you review it and click Approve & send — you can edit the subject and body first, or reject the draft entirely.
Can I use Aliqo just for my portfolio, without the CRM side?
Yes. The portfolio and contact form work on their own. The CRM, proposal, and invoice tools are there when you want them, but nothing forces you to use every part of the product.
What is the GEO checker?
It checks how well a page is structured for AI answer engines (the kind of tools people now ask directly for a recommendation), not just classic search engines. Give it a URL and it has Claude read the page once, the way a stranger asking an AI assistant for a freelancer would, then scores it and lists specific fixes. It's free and doesn't require an account — try it at aliqo.app/geo-check.
How does the GEO checker actually decide the score?
Half the checklist is standard on-page signals (a clear title, a meta description, structured data, real headings, enough actual text). The other half comes from asking Claude to read only the page text — no other knowledge of you — and judge whether it could state what you do, who you help, whether you back it up with a concrete result, and whether it would confidently recommend you by name. The score is the share of that checklist you pass.
How is Aliqo different from a portfolio builder or a generic CRM?
Most tools in this space pick one side: a portfolio builder handles presentation but little else, and a CRM or ops suite handles clients and invoicing but has no public-facing portfolio. Aliqo treats both as one system, so a contact-form lead, a stale proposal, and the case study that won the work all live in the same place.
Is my data and my clients’ data secure?
Your data is stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level security, meaning every query is scoped to your own account by default. Outbound emails are sent through a dedicated email provider, and draft content is only ever visible to you until you approve it.
How are passwords stored?
Passwords are hashed server-side before storage and are never stored in plain text or exposed through any API. We never see or have access to your actual password, only a one-way hash used to verify it.
Can I export my data or close my account?
Yes — reach out and we will get your data exported or your account and associated data removed. We are actively working on making both of these fully self-serve.
